Ask the person next to you, how are they feeling about themselves. About their situation. Would they change anything? Think we can all agree that most answers will be, as a matter of fact, yes! "Can't stand my neighbor, need to find a new place to live." "I need to find a new job." "I could really use a life changing moment." Everyone will have an answer of something they want to change right now as we are all going through something. It is life.
The mind is the most powerful tool. We all possess it, yet most don't take the time to understand it more and in turn understand ourselves. It all starts in the mind. We have all gone thru those times where we loose the hope. The hope that there are better days ahead where we will be able to look back, and have that moment where we are talking to a friend and we get asked that question. That question, of what we would tell ourselves if we had the chance to talk to our younger self that went thru that situation. And we all say the same thing. That everything will be alright. We go thru those moments in life where we tell ourselves, there's no FU%#@%NG chance I will get thru this. We dig ourselves in this dark depression where we just see this hole that we will not get out of over and over and over again. We give up, we get lost, we loose hope.
“We all possess it, yet most don't take the time to understand it more and in turn understand ourselves.”
We all put on that mask when we walk out the door to meet everyone. You know the mask. The one you pretending that your not thinking about that bill you got to pay. Or that fight you just got into with your partner. Just got fired from your job but you pretending like everything's normal. Then you come home, lay on your bed. And those moments when you are alone, that is when the thoughts take over. The mind gets clouded and the fear comes in. The fear of the unknown future. Let's be honest here, we all want to know what happens next before it happens. But not just that feeling, we want to see it.
“Then you come home, lay on your bed. And those moments when you are alone, that is when the thoughts take over.”
These "feelings," we all get that overtake us. They all start from somewhere. We all know that by the time you have gotten past high school, you've already seen some s%*t and you have been through some things. This feeling of heartbreaks, heartaches and pain all stem from somewhere and they all build up and keep building up. And your collecting all this pain and your bottling it in until we come to a point that we just tell ourselves, I can't do this anymore.
Do this for a moment, think back at your life and look back at those moments, those moments where you felt you were not going to get through it. You will always see something that was learned out of that situation. Everything that happens in this life is a lesson to learn. If we don't learn it, the universe will keep throwing things at you until you pay attention and learn that lesson. Oh, you didn't learn this time, here's another. Oh, you going to ignore me, let's throw something bigger at you. The universe, will always throw lessons for you to learn. And if you are still here, should be the simple push that you need to get you thru anything. There is always Hope. As you have heard at some point or another in your life, put one foot in front of the other and keep it moving. You got this!
Focus equals feeling! Ever heard of that saying? Ever heard of a song over and over again that makes you feel of a moment. And your body reacts based on that moment. It is the same thing with everyday life. If you focus everyday that everything is going to fall apart then that feeling will take over. Instead, focus on what you do want. Focus is followed by energy. If you keep focusing on that relationship you don't want anymore, that job you are not happy in, that money that you don't have, then your body will continue to react in a negative state. Shift your mindset to what you want. Feel it, see it, experience what it feels like to have what you want. If your in a job that you don't want or like, then what job do you want. Visualize it, see it, experience it. See yourself in that job, how you would act, what you would do, how you would look, how you would present yourself. Your in a place you don't want to live in. So where do you want to live, what does it look like, where would it be, what it would feel like. Once you have that clear vision in your head, what steps do you need to take to start achieving that vision. What actions are you taking.
“Shift your mindset to what you want. Feel it, see it, experience what it feels like to have what you want.”
No actions are better then visual. This way you are doing an exercise that puts you in a state of positive energy and focused on your vision. Vision boards are a great way also to see what you want. Where do you want to live, what business would you want to have, what job would you like, what would your family look like, what car would you drive, where would you like to vacation to, and anything else that expresses your vision. Once you have your vision board clear, expand that vision board to show accomplishments you have achieved. Place it somewhere that you can see it everyday. Where you can see not only your vision but also your accomplishments that you can say to yourself that was hard, but I did it. Since I work in 3's the last part to add to that vision board and accomplishments board is your CRAP board. CRAP (Conflict, Resistance, Accomplishments and Procrastination). You want to see what is causing you from achieving that vision, the resistance you feel your getting, the accomplishments you are trying to achieve and the procrastination that you are wasting your time on. By having these vision boards will make it even easier for you to keep focus on that vision. Now take actions towards your vision. What areas do I need to focus on to achieve this vision. You will see that once you have a clear picture of the "Big Picture," then it will make it easier to start planning your route. Your own personalized route to where you want to be.
Reach, Achieve, Inspire. Sending positive vibes your way, always 🙏😉😁
